Overview
BITHOOR SHAKTI is an initiative of Digital India Corporation for Skill-Enhancement & Health Awareness through Knowledge Transformation using ICTs for Women Empowerment in Bithoor Cluster of Kanpur.The overall objective of this project is to enhance the skills, productivity & livelihood of the identified women artisans of Bithoor Cluster of Kanpur engaged in Zari, Zardozi work using Information & Communication Technology (ICT) based solutions.
Also the project aims to empower the adolescents girls and women in and around Bithoor by providing awareness and counseling on issues w.r.t Health & Hygiene, Education, Career, Social Security etc.
